A wonderfully versatile French round dining table with real presence. A generous marble top in soft blue-grey, white, and sea-green sits atop a classic cast iron pedestal base, finished in a rich forest green with beautifully aged patina. The fluted column and scrolled acanthus legs give it that unmistakable French character. At 41" across it seats four with ease—equally at home as an intimate dining table indoors or on a covered patio or terrace for al fresco meals.

  • Style: French, marble-top pedestal dining table
  • Age: Circa late 19th to early 20th century
  • Material: Natural marble top, painted cast iron base
  • Base: Fluted column on three scrolled acanthus legs, original green paint
  • Details: Natural veining and fissures in the marble, consistent with genuine stone
  • Dimensions: 41" diameter × 29.25" H (seats 4-6 )
  • Use: Indoor or covered outdoor
  • Condition: Wear and patina consistent with age

NOTE FROM THE CURATOR: Célani Home buys with a century of use already accounted for. Some of our pieces come with old repairs done by careful hands: none of it is damage, all of it is age. Every listing describes condition as we find it. Nothing here is flawless, and nothing here is new.

Because so many of our pieces have already survived a century or two, we want them to reach you in one piece for the next century. We work with a trusted delivery team that handles in-home delivery

Because of the nature of vintage, antiques, and furniture, all sales are final and sold "As-is". Antiques come with the small marks and signs of age that come from being loved and used long before they reached us. We photograph and describe condition as honestly as we can, but we always want you to feel sure before you buy.

Please go over the measurements carefully and picture the piece in your actual space. If you have a question, ask it before you check out. If you want another angle, a close-up of a particular detail, or more on the condition, just email us. We would always rather send ten more photos than have a piece arrive and not be what you pictured.

What shipping costs comes down to the piece itself, its weight and size, along with where it's headed. To receive a shipping quote please complete the form below.

Please note, shipping can take anywhere from 4-12 weeks.
