A pretty French gilt-bronze frame in the Louis XVI taste, formed as three round openings set in a cloverleaf arrangement and crowned with a ribbon-tied bow that trails floral garlands down to the frames. The gilt has the warm, soft tone of age, and each round is beaded and finely cast. A loop at the top of the bow lets it hang on the wall. The openings are currently filled with green marbled paper, ready to hold small portraits, miniatures, or photographs in their place.
Please note the lower left frame is a little bent, a small sign of age that shows in the shape of the round. Otherwise it presents beautifully.
