Each shows a different decoration from the manufactory's later 18th-century years. A cherub sits beneath a gold wreath in soft blue camaïeu, with bluebirds at the rim. Exotic birds perch among pink scrolls and forget-me-not garlands within a deep blue border. Birds take flight across a buttercup yellow ground twined with vines. Crimson and sepia country scenes are linked by blue garlands and tiny gilt urns. A plate of painted arabesques and flowers frames a blue landscape at its center. At the middle, a cup is painted with pansies around an oval garland of roses beneath a gold medallion. The Sèvres interlaced L marks, with their date letters and painters' marks, are printed throughout. It is framed in gilt modern frame with a rope twist edge and a beaded inner border, and it is lovely in a dining room, a breakfast room, or a kitchen.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eChromolithography was the finest color printing process of the 19th century. Each color was drawn by hand onto its own limestone block, and the sheet was pressed against every stone in turn, sometimes a dozen or more, with each impression aligned precisely over the last.
